Hence why it’s my No. 1 must see.  It didn’t take me longer than a day before I learnt ever song and was singing them everywhere I went. 3.  The Amazing Spider-man (July 3rd)
I can’t lie I was one of the first person on the Hate on “The Amazing Spiderman film” train.  This was due to the fact that the last few films of that franchise weren’t all that hot and I really did want to start all over and go through it again.  My mind quickly changed when I was informed by a friend (S/O Rouen) that the awesome Marc Webb was directing then had a charge of heart and knew this movie would be hit.  The trailer for this film only affirms the awesomeness that is Marc Webb and the special effects looks like it’s going to be mind blowing.

I have been a fan of vampire movies for a long time (all expect for the blasphemy known as Twilight) and this film has two movie elements I enjoy. This film is definitely DVD Blue Ray worthy and I shall be adding it to my collection.

Zombie's On The Move

Another Zombie Attack

If you live on this planet and speak English you have probably by now heard, read or seen the stories in the media about the zombie attacks in Florida. The first known attack was back in May where two naked men were spotted on the highway by police and one of the men was eating the face of the other.  Officers described it as something they would have seen in a horror movie and had no choice but to shot the man that was eating the others face because he was acting wild and making animal beastly noise. What Kind Of Crab Grass Is That?

On Thursday the 21st June, 2012 another zombie attack occurred. If you want to read the entire story click this link http://www.wptv.com/dpp/news/news_archives/zombie-like-palmetto-biting-similar-to-rudy-eugene-miami-attack-on-ronald-poppo-leaves-man-wounded.

My whole issue on this matter is why doesn’t America (government/media) seem fazed by this? It would appear that the media is giving more attention to Snookie’s pregnancy then a terrible alleged drug problem (the intake of bath salt).  I say alleged because I don’t buy that “bath salt” excuse for one minute. Until I see a proper medical test done where it shows that subjects who use the bath salt transform into a zombie, I will go on to say that this is a cover up.  Seriously, I am the only one that believes that this bath salt foolishness is a bunch of smoke and mirrors. Yes certain chemicals can cause a person to have dangerous side effects but come on you honestly expect me to believe that bath salt could give a person super human strength.

Let’s just look at the signs when one of the zombie attackers were shoot they had to be shot 5 times before the zombie would calm down.  Another was tasered 7 times before police could handcuff him. These persons are obviously escape lab subjects who got out in the community. Whatever these people were on it is something stronger than the claimed bath salt. Someone is doing something shady. Check out this link for more zombie reports   http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=idxzjAt1T4Y .

I don’t know about you but my fellow Bahamians I am trouble because Grand Bahama is too close to the State of Florida and I don’t want any zombie/infected persons to bring an outbreak into our nation.  I recommend that our government implement mandatory health exams before visitors enter into our country and make sure they get all their shoots. There shall not be any 24 Days Later incident happening on our side of the pond. No, No, No, No!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Today’s Spotted Trends

The Fade is back people and if you don’t know what a Fade is it’s a male hair cut that was inspired from the military crew cut and made popular by the rapper Kid of Kid and Play back in the 90’s. I don’t know about you but this is a trend that I wish stayed in the 90’s it was not hot on Kid and it is not hot on you. The Fade makes the head look like an eraser. Think about it men do you really think we woman find an eraser looking head attractive. We don’t because it looks stupid.

I Am So Tivo-ing That? Love and Hip Hop Atlanta Review

Ok the show to watch this Summer is Love and Hip Hop Atlanta.

This show is the spin off from the previous show with the same title which aired in 2011. After watching the first episode I can truly say that this reality show is the most entertaining one I have ever watched. I felt like I was watching an episode of Days of Our Lives it was pour DRAMA. The show centers around Mimi and Stevie J and his artist/sweetheart Joseline but before I get into this story let me just give you a brief back ground on all the parties involved in this love triangle. Mimi Faust is the star of the show and longtime girlfriend and baby mamma of music producer Stevie J. She has been with Stevie for over 15 years and has been by his side through the highs and lows of his career and constant infidelity. Stevie J a successful producer in the hip hop and R&B community who has won 3 Grammy’s and worked with artist such as Jay Z, Maria Carey and P Diddy. He now is taking a swing at managing and is doing so with Joseline Hernandez. Joseline Hernandez a former stripper turned rapper and secret lover of Stevie J. The other characters of this show are Rasheeda Buckner, Karlie Redd, K. Michelle, Erica Dixon, and Lil Scrappy. I will get into their story as the episodes progresses. This post is all about the love triangle.

“The Big Show Down That Never Happened”
In episode 1 this show wasted no time grabbing my attention with the mess of a relationship between Mimi and Stevie J. It opened with Stevie J surprising Mimi with a beautiful mansion he bought her far outside of the city of Atlanta. Most women would be ecstatic with such a gift but not Mimi she instantly saw pass the luxurious home to Stevie’s real intent, which was to ship her off to the outlands so he could have his fun in the city and continue his creeping life style. Here is where I was completely amazed by the playa skills of Stevie J. During a lunch date Mimi who at the time was beyond pissed knowing that she was right about her theory of the reason why Stevie J bought her that home in the outskirts. As I watch I thought to myself, “Okay Mimi is about to set it off up in this restaurant, wait staff beware” but I was completely wrong. As soon as Stevie J opened his mouth he spun that whole matter around and at the end of their lunch he had the once angry Mimi in a loving mood laughing and blushing. All he did was told her that he loved her and would come home at nights OFTEN. What The Hell???? I do declear, his skills are at a level I have not seen before. Honestly he has to be working some sort of magic or voodoo to get her to continuously believe his lies.

Let the love saga begin.
The next day Joseline accompanies Stevie J to a lunch meeting with LA Reid’s son and his girl friend Karlie Redd a singer who wants to work with Stevie J on her album. During this lunch meeting Joseline and Stevie J was acting so much like a couple that Karlie asked them if they were in a relationship but Joseline responded that he was only her Man-anger. From my view they were differently more than that during the meeting Joseline was very much engaged in the conversations with Karlie and Reid and was flirting with Stevie J calling him baby and daddy. They were also very physically affectionate towards each other.

On to the main event.
Later that night K. Michelle (rapper) was having a birthday party and all of the cast females were invited. During the party it was revealed that Karlie and Mimi were old time friends from back in the day. As drinks were served and the party got started Karlie started to talk about this girl she meet by the name of Joseline who is ride or die for her man Stevie J. She was then interrupted by K Michelle stating that Stevie was Mimi’s man. Karlie then responded by saying, “Well I spent time with them and even saw them kiss”. Moments later both Stevie J and Joseline entered the club together hand in hand. Let’s pause for another second. Right here was when I REALLY though Mimi was about to Pop Off on Stevie J and tell him about his doggish ways and kick his lying behind to the curve. Alas once again I was wrong this brother was so bold he brought his sweetheart not only in the same club that he knew his girl would be at but also sat next to her and her friends. Boldness I Say. Now back to the story. As Mimi confronted Stevie J and Joseline they both denied having an affair even after Karlie supported what she told Mimi and said, “Yes I saw both of them kiss”. Stevie J being the pimp that he is responded by saying, “You saw us kiss really when was this”? I am telling you Stevie J is a true pimp lol. Smooth as ever during this entire confrontation he was clam and collective with an expression on his face like he had no idea what Karlie was talking about. Frustrated with all of the lies Mimi stormed out of the club followed by Stevie J, on his way out of the club Joseline throws her drink at him as he pursued Mimi. Now why would she have done that if they weren't having an affair hmmm. After all of the arguing and tears Stevie J’s who claimed to be innocent still left with Joseline who had the nerve to call him on his cell while him and Mimi was arguing outside. Boom…………….. you just don’t see game like that anymore.

How Heather Luv See’s It.
First of all Stevie J is the true star of this show his skills are Legendary and whenever he is in a scene you can trust something is about to go down. Secondly this show is PURE FIRE if you are looking to be entertained and would rather watch the drama of others rather than have one of your own this is the show for you. Thirdly poor, poor Mimi how long is she gonna be Stevie J’s door mat. We will have to wait and see the next episode airing on Monday at 9pm on VH1.

Meet Heather Luv

It’s my first blog post and it would only make sense to let you the readers know a little bit about me. Let me get right to it.

Who is Heather Luv?
Well I live in paradise from the shores of Grand Bahama I love both the peacefulness of the island and the hustle and bustle of the city life. I am a closet geek and it’s showing more than ever now a day’s. My life is full of projects next to being a law student and legal professional I am also in love with the arts. If I am not singing to an event I am probably directing one of my plays, writing music or giving a music lesson.

I am a very hopeful person. I believe it’s due to that fact that Hope is literally my middle name. I always look for the best in people and in situations. I believe that love is the greatest thing you would ever have in this world, so it would be best when choosing to love to choose well. God is my first love and music comes second. I love to sing and have been doing so all my life. If you so happen to buck into me you would either find me with my nose in a book or on my lap top writing a song or working on a script.

I love, lovvvvvvve karate movies I have close to a thousand of them in my possession and No I do not like the modern ones. I am more into the ancient martial arts movies subtitle preferred. I am not going to lie, my life is a pretty busy one but I make it a point to not become one of those over achieving zombies that don’t have a life. So I make it a point to do something adventurous now and again.
